How To Report A Correction
Use the contact page or email legal@modernexpatmagazine.com with Correction in the subject line. Include the page URL, the specific line or claim you think is wrong, and, if possible, a source or document that supports the correction.
What Counts As A Correction
We treat factual errors, misquotes, incorrect dates, wrong prices, broken attributions and misleading descriptions as correction issues. Differences of opinion, subjective takes and clearly marked personal judgements are not handled the same way unless they contain a factual mistake.
How We Update The Page
When a correction is confirmed, we update the page as directly as possible. If the change materially affects the usefulness of the piece, we refresh the updated date. For fast-moving guides, especially visas and other regulation-heavy topics, we may revise wording to reflect what is currently confirmed and strip out claims that no longer hold up.
Minor Changes
Small grammar fixes, formatting clean-up and readability edits do not usually need a correction note. Material factual changes do.
Commercial Or Legal Complaints
If your issue is commercial, legal or brand-related rather than factual, use the contact page and explain the concern clearly. We review those separately from editorial corrections.
