If you want a Grandstand seat for MotoGP in Buriram next March, set an alarm. Tickets for the 2027 Grand Prix of Thailand go on sale worldwide at 2pm Thai time on Monday 9 November 2026, and the organisers say more than 10,000 Grandstand seats for this year's race were gone in just over three minutes, according to Autoinfo.
The race weekend runs from 5 to 7 March 2027 at Chang International Circuit in Buriram, a province in north-eastern Thailand. MotoGP, the championship's organiser, has confirmed that Thailand opens the season for the third year running and that it will be the first race under the new technical rules for 2027 to 2031.
Where to buy and what it costs
Thaiger and Siamsport report that tickets will be sold at Counter Service All Ticket points inside 7-Eleven stores across Thailand and online through the AllTicket Thailand website, which is the route for buyers outside the country. The sale was first planned for 3 November and was moved to 9 November, the Bangkok Post reported in October.
Prices published by the organisers, as carried by Siamsport, Autoinfo and Thaiger, are 5,000 baht for the Grandstand over the three days, 3,000 baht for each of the Marquez, Quartararo and Martin rider stands, and 2,000 baht for the Honda Stand, the Yamaha Stand and the Side Stand. A Paddock Pass costs 15,000 baht.
From 9 to 15 November an early bird discount of 30% applies to the Side Stand and the Honda and Yamaha stands. Sponsor discount codes worth 20% apply to the Grandstand and rider stands from 9 November, and to the other stands from 16 November, until race day. The organisers post the codes on the Chang Circuit Buriram Facebook page.
Two dates worth knowing
The official pre-season Buriram Test, confirmed by MotoGP, takes place on 6 and 7 February 2027. Siamsport reports that race weekend tickets also cover entry to the test and to the fan zone in front of the circuit, while Grandstand seats for the test alone are sold separately at 500 baht a day or 900 baht for both days.
Buriram fills up quickly on race weekend. MotoGP counted a record 228,228 spectators at this year's opener, which Marco Bezzecchi won for Aprilia. If you are travelling from Bangkok, Phuket or Chiang Mai, it makes sense to sort flights or trains and a room soon after you have your seats, rather than waiting until the new year.
Ticket designs for 2027 have also been released under the theme New Era Starts Here, with the Grandstand ticket featuring a gateway from Prasat Mueang Tam, a Khmer-era temple in Buriram, Matichon reports. Check the AllTicket listing on the day for final prices and seat availability, as the organisers set the terms.
